PAYMENT AND SHIPPING INFORMATION

Following you will find information concerning how to place an order with La Dolce Vita.

HOW MANY BOTTLES MAY I ORDER?
The number of bottles depends on where the wine is to be shipped. See ‘Shipping CostsWorldwide’ to determine the number of bottles allowed.
MAY I ORDER MIXED CASES?
Yes. We can ship, for example, 24 bottles from 24 different wineries. Within the EU olive
oil may be shipped with wine. Outside the EU the two must be shipped separately.
Shipping prices for wine and olive oil do vary.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?
This depends on the destination. Please see ‘Shipping Costs-Worldwide’ for delivery
times.
ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS TO THE WINE AND SHIPPING PRICES?
For some countries customs fees are applicable and are not included in the shipping price.
For example, the shipping cost to Canada DOES NOT include customs fees. To other
countries there are no additional charges above the wine and shipping. Please see page
3 for further information.
IS THERE A CHARGE FOR INSURANCE ON MY ORDER?
For orders up to €1,000.00 insurance is included in the shipping price. Above €1,000.00 a
cost of 1.5%+VAT will be added. For example: To an order of €1,500.00 of wine € 9.00 in
insurance would be added to the price.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THERE ARE BROKEN BOTTLES WHEN MY ORDER
ARRIVES?
The insurance covers broken bottles and lost merchandise but not damage caused by
weather conditions. We will replace any broken bottles and ship them free of charge. We
ask our clients to send us photographs of the broken bottles at the time of delivery.
HOW WILL MY WINE BE SHIPPED?
Within the EU orders are shipped by truck or by plane when shipped express. Outside the
EU orders are shipped either by plane or ship depending on the destination and service standard or express. All wines are packed in temperature controlled styrofoam containers
made specifically for shipping wine bottles.

HOW MAY I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
There are two possibilities: Credit card or wire transfer
Credit card: To orders paid by credit card a 4% charge will be added to the total cost
(wine+ shipping.) To pay by credit card we require the credit card number, expiry date and
the three digit security number on the back of the card. You may send us credit card
information via e-mail or by telephone. We accept American Express, Visa and
Mastercard. Credit card transactions will be credited by the shipping company Logisitics.
Should you decided to send us your credit card information by e-mail, we suggest you
send a first e-mail with the type of card, number and expiry date and a second with the
three digit security number and authorization allowing us to use your credit card for the
cost of the wine and shipping. Your order will be shipped once the transaction has been
completed.
Wire Transfer: There is no added payment charges to wire transfers. Transfers of the
total (wine+ shipping) should be sent to the following bank:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
Information provided (telephone number, e-mail address) will be used by Enoteca La
Dolce Vita to send you information of a promotional nature.

Wine shipments to the USA follow a completely different iter from other shipments
because they contain alcoholic products; so all mixed shipments (wine and oil or wine
and food) will be sent separately.

Extra charges will be apply for deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Island and Puerto
Rico: € 40,00 each 12 bottles.

If the customer is not available or the business is closet after three attempts of delivery
the returning and reshipping to and from our us warehouse will be charged to the final
client following phone call from our American correspondent.

All the shipments to the USA are insurance by € 1000,00, over is 1% calculated on the
surplus value. For the reimbursement of damaged items, it is necessary to enclose a
fiscal receipt (commercial invoice or fiscal ticket). The insurance covers for broken
items or for lost not for damages due to weather conditions.
For wine shipments to MARYLAND,KENTUCKY,UTAH,MAINE,MASSACHUSSETTS,
we can’t guarantee regular delivery times. Fot these States we can suggest to have an
alternative address to respect the fixed delivery times.

Adult signature is required in the USA for the following States:
WASHINGTON,CALIFORNIA,OREGON,NEVADA,IDAHO,COLORADO,TEXAS,ALAS
KA,WIOMING,ARIZONA,VIRGINIA. For the other States the carrier can deliver at front
door without a signature or authorization. It is possible to request the signature at the
delivery also for the other States, specifying it on the shipping schedule with an extra
cost of € 5,00.

Logistics company is not responsible for delivery delays due to customs stops.

We ask to specify on the shipping schedule the date of the returning in their country,
the correct address, the phone number, the e-mail all written in capital letters, because
sometimes is impossible to read the addresses.

Carriers can’t deliver at P.O. Boxes; we need absolutely real addresses.

All the shipments out of the European community are subjected to duties, which aren’t
enclosed in the shipping cost and they must be payed by the recipient. This costs of
the duties are established by the customs and are calculated on the preformed or
commercial invoice value. The customs can revalue the merchandise, so can apply
higher duties. The only service in which the duties are enclosed is the groupage (wine
shipment to private citizens in the USA).
