impact-resistant glass that consists of a tough laminated
interlayer bonded between two panes of glass. This impactresistant layer helps prevent flying debris from entering the

Insulated Glass Construction
Rather than using a single pane of glass, an insulated glass unit is comprised
of two lites of glass that are combined into one airtight unit.



