A DBT SPONSORED TRAINING PROGRAMME ON
METHODS IN MOLECULAR ECOLOGY
FROM 18 TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2006
Aimed at Young Teachers and Senior Research Students, the course will include lectures and laboratory work on several aspects of Molecular Ecology including, principles of genetics and molecular biology and the development and use of DNA based molecular markers, especially microsatellite
markers, for addressing fundamental and applied questions in animal behaviour, ecology, evolution,
conservation and taxonomy.
