S lide the inner metal tube onto the
jaw insert with its four spring tongues
towards the working end until the
tongues snap into place.
Slide the outer insulation tube as far as
it will go over the inner metal tube.
Hold the shaft firmly by its tip and pull
back the handle rotation knob with fingers and maintain hold. Fully insert the
shaft and release the rotation knob.
T est that the instrument is secured in
the handle by pulling on the shaft. If
the shaft pulls out of the handle, then
repeat step 3 and step 4.

Connect the handle with the jaw
insert ball joint, by depressing the black
handle buttons on both sides of the
handle. Continue to depress and lift the
rear ring of the handle under the ball
joint of the jaw insert until captured by
the handle. Release the buttons.

ensure the jaw is opening and closing
with handle movement.
