LIMITED PANEL WARRANTY WARRANTY COVERAGE: ICS extends the following warranty to the original purchaser/user, which shall be deemed to mean the individual or company for whom the warranted product(s) was originally installed. It neither assumes, nor authorizes any person to assume, any obligation other than that covered by this warranty, and applies only within the continental boundaries of the United States of America, its territories, possessions and Canada. ICS warrants the foamed-in-place panels manufactured and sold by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship under proper and normal use and service for a period of 10 years from the date of original installation, but not to exceed 10 years and three months from date of original shipment, subject to the proration of warranty coverage for warranty claims submitted. Painted surfaces shall be warranted against defects in the materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year. All hardware (except refrigeration system, covered separately if sold by ICS) are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from date of installation, but not to exceed fifteen months from date of original shipment. Labor for the hardware is covered for the first thirty (30) days. Replacement parts purchased from ICS will be warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from ship date. A purchase order or credit card must be furnished for all warranty parts and all parts must be returned for inspection, excluding compressors. Once a part has been inspected and it has been determined that the part failed because of defect of manufacturing or materials, a credit will be issued. ICS will repair or replace, at its option, any panels or hardware manufactured or sold by it which prove to be defective within the warranty coverage. ICS’s obligation to repair or replace any defective panel for which a warranty claim is submitted to ICS shall be conditioned on the customer paying a prorated cost of the repair or replacement. Inspection by ICS of parts claimed defective shall be final in determining warranty status. The warranty does not include transportation charges to and from, nor the cost or responsibility of removing the defective part or reinstalling the replacement or repaired part and will not apply to said equipment nor any part thereof which has been subject to misuse, damage in transit, accident, negligence, alteration or improper installation or operation contrary to ICS’s directions, instructions or recommendations. With respect to products (doors, windows, refrigeration, etc., but not limited to.) sold or supplied by ICS but manufactured by other companies who furnish their own warranties, ICS’s sole obligation is to assist the original purchaser in contacting said manufacturer. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage: 1. Equipment that has been subject to removal from original site, rebuilt or subject to any accident or alterations from original print. 2. Bulbs or fluorescent light bulb replacement 3. Refrigeration leaks occurring at threaded connections or joints on remote systems, 4. adjustments/resetting (i.e. doors, valve adjustments, defrost component adjustment, pressure control or room thermostat adjustments, circuit breaker resetting, fuse replacement, door thermostat or alarm resetting, (unless Authorized by OneSolutionSupport Service). 5. Additional field components or controls not supplied by manufacturer. 6. Field wiring, drain lines, heaters, refrigerant piping, not supplied by manufacturer. 7. Condenser or evaporator coil cleaning. 8. Refrigeration top off charge on remote units, refrigerant, oils, filters or driers. 9. Start-ups, improper installation, negligence, abuse, misuse or unauthorized service. 10. Damage caused by improper cleaning, use of corrosive cleaning chemicals, floods, storms, acts of God, use/abuse, site or environmental conditions. 11. Overtime labor rates, unless authorized by OneSolutionSupport Service. 12. Door gasket and sweeps are considered consumables and are subject to wear and damage. 13. Damage during transit by freight carrier, unloading, storage or delays caused by weather, traffic, labor or scheduling. All products must be inspected and damage notated on the freight bill, to allow a freight claim to be filed. First or second year labor warranty (Optional); Coverage can be purchased to provide warranty coverage for the refrigeration or box components for an additional 1 or 2 years. If refrigeration warranty is purchased, this covers only refrigeration components, not box components. Sixty month extended Refrigeration service agreement (Optional); Coverage can be purchased to provide warranty coverage for the refrigeration for an additional sixty (60) months. If refrigeration warranty is purchased, this covers only refrigeration components, not box components. First year compressor replacement warranty: The compressor replacement warranty does not apply to any other part of the equipment other than the compressor. For the first year, the servicer must exchange the compressor over the counter at an authorized wholesaler. The warranty does not cover refrigerant, filter, drier, oil or any incidentals normally required by the servicer to perform this service. This also does not cover any freight to expedite the compressor to the servicer. 2nd through 5th year compressor replacement warranty (Optional): The compressor itself will be warranted, providing the extended warranty is purchased and will be for the part only. The replacement compressor will be reimbursed at the actual wholesale price. A copy of the wholesalers invoice must contain the serial number of the compressor, the serial number of the old (core) compressor and the wholesale price of the replacement compressor clearly printed on their invoice. The warranty covers the wholesale cost of the compressor only and does not include any freight, labor, mileage, mark-up or any other parts to make the repair. Floor Panels: Floor panels are not warranted under the following conditions; wet mopping or use of a water hose for cleaning, rolling wheel traffic (carts, dollies, pallet jacks, etc.) on non-reinforced (overlay) floors and or weight loads that exceed 800 lbs. /sq. ft. on non-structural floors. Doors: Doors are built to be the strongest in the industry; however any product, shelves, boxes or obstructions can cause the door to stress at the hinge points, causing the door to fail. The door must be allowed to swing the full extension of the door. ICS warrants insulated cold room storage doors, exclusive of hardware and accessories to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years. ICS obligation under this warranty will be for replacement materials only. If the door fails because of these conditions, the door must be returned to the factory for inspection, before warranty will be considered. IN NO EVENT SHALL ICS BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF USE, REVENUE OR PROFIT OR FOR ANY OTHER INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FOOD SPOILAGE OR PRODUCT LOSS, ARISING FROM THE SALE, USE OR INSTALLATION OF THE PANELS OR HARDWARE OR FROM ANY OTHER CAUSE WHATSOEVER. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER WRITTEN, ORAL, STATUTORY, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ALL WARRANTIES ARAISING FROM COURSE OF DEALINGS OR USEGE OF TRADE). It shall be ICS’s sole and exclusive liability and Buyer’s sale and exclusive remedy for action, whether based in contract, in tort, (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise. Upon expiration of the Warranty period all such liability shall be terminated. In order to exercise this warranty, the Buyer must notify ICS in writing immediately upon knowledge of a problem. Failure to notify ICS voids this warranty. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: In the event of a malfunction, you or a designee must notify our service department and follow the instructions provide to start a warranty claim. Provide the brand, model and serial number of the equipment, along with the customer name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number and contact name. 3. Provide a description of the issue, and what has been done to diagnose the problem. 4. If it is a warranty claim, you will be provided with a work order or authorization number, which must be written on all invoices. The invoice must clearly show the model and serial number of the equipment, the exact work performed, hours worked and the labor rate, along with any parts used. 5. You will be notified on the procedures to file a warranty claim.
