Organization of the annual drive of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis and its Nassau County Chapter Is now under .way, Mrs. Stevenson said, but more workers are needed in every Nassau community. "Demands upon the National Foundation treasury this year have depleted funds that were raised early in 1952. Chapters all over the country have had to draw upon the epidemic aid fund of the Foundation because the nation has been through the worst polio outbreak in its history," Mrs. 'Stevenson declared.
