Paper cone wreath Delicate and traditional, this wreath can be made from a variety of papers. Sheet music adds a touch of nostaligia, but you could also use double layers of coloured wrapping paper, newspaper or even magazine print. You will need Paper - music sheets or other Scrapbook paper 35cm timber embroidery hoop Step 1 Cut cone patterns from templates in both sizes, from music sheets and coordinating scrapbook paper Step 2 Shape each cut paper piece into a cone and secure closed with craft glue. Step 3 Use the inside hoop of the embroidery hoop, lay cones around the outside of the hoop using craft glue to hold in place, then a layer on the inside. Use mostly large cones, then scale down to the small cones for the top of the wreath. Step 4 To make the ‘rosette’, start by gluing together a fan shape of 5 large cones, glue onto the hoop and build up the rest in layers of small and large cones.
