R. F. Mote now offers a solution for your equipment located in Seismically Active Environments.
Our Seismically Rated Cabinets have been independantly tested and certified to UBC
Code Seismic Strength Requirements and are Zone 4 compliant to Telcordia (Bellcore)
GR-63-CORE specifications.
Built around our standard R.F. Mote Frames, Seismic Cabinets are available Pre-Configured with
our standard Mounting Rails, Cable Managers, Shelves, Power Bars, and Fans. A variety of seismic
rated Doors & Side Panels are also available.
To maintian seismic rating requirements, assembled units must be bolted to the floor and all doors
are required to incorporate 3 point latching systems which c/w an integrated combination lock

AgileAir Intelligent Cooling Chimney Ducts
Working with Geist, R.F. Mote has developed our AgileAir Ducted Cabinet Solution
capable of handling a 30kW heat load in a single cabinet. Our cabinet level
containment cooling philosophy centres on two critical components:
1) Containing heat
2) Expelling heat directly back to the CRAC units
This two step focus maintains the ideal temperature for data centre equipment.
The first step is addressed by expertly manufactured chimneys and enclosures.
The second step relies on sophisticated temperature and pressure sensors to
control fan speeds and exhaust hot air through the chimneys at the most
efficient rate. The combination of hot air containment and intelligently controlled
fan speed creates a consistent climate controlled environment in the data centre and
within the cabinet rows.
Load Sharing
• Multiple units work together to share cabinet loads
• Operational redundancy increases as systems work in concert
• In the event of utility failure, heat continues to be exhausted

Relay Rack and Four Post Rack System
R. F. Mote Four Post Rack Assemblies are made up of Two Relay Racks and an
Adjustable Bracket Set which joins the racks together. Once Assembled, the
unit is depth adjustable from 25 1/2” to 42” Rail to Rail. The brackets also act

High Density Cable Management
R. F. Mote High Density Cable Managers, for 2-post or
4-post relay racks, provide an attractive and functional solution
to organizing cables within a high-density environment.
To compliment our high-density vertical cable management, we
have introduced high-density horizontal cable managers and
overhead troughs. These are designed to provide an end-to-end
solution to organize cables in your network environment.
The FMS series offers the
flexibility of a dual hinged, dual
latching, and removable, door;
the door may be opened from the
left or the right.
The RVCM-HD series features
a latching door that is easily
removed without the use of tools.
Both the FMS series and the RVCM-HD series feature openings between the
fingers that allow for easy moves, add-ons, and changes of connections. These
fingers support cables as they transition to the vertical pathway simplifying cable
routing and reducing or eliminating the need for horizontal cable managers. They
are shaped to maintain proper cable bend radii for enhanced data transmission
and prevention of cable damage from nicks or kinks.

RFM Series Wallmount Cabinets
R. F. Mote Wall Mount Cabinets are available in various
heights and are offered in 30” widths. All c/w lockable, smoked
acrylic front doors and adjustable 19” EIA mounting rails.
To further enhance cabinet space, an optional 6” extender
bracket can be installed. All wall mount cabinets are hinged and
pivot off the wall to allow easy access to the rear of the cabinet.

Where limited space is an issue, Low Profile design
wall mount cabinets offer a solution. Equipment
