2nd BIENNIAL DSF FAMILY & MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE Coral Gables, FL June 23-26, 2016 The Westin Colonnade Coral Gables 180 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33134 Sponsorship & Exhibitor Opportunities PO Box 16536, West Haven, CT 06516 www.dravetfoundation.org Dravet Syndrome Foundation’s (DSF) Biennial Family & Medical Professional Conference provides an outstanding opportunity for exhibitors and sponsors to reach families and individuals affected by Dravet syndrome and related epilepsies, as well as the medical professionals who care for them. The goal of the conference is to provide the tools and connections to address the medical, educational and social challenges of living with Dravet syndrome, and to provide the opportunity for families to meet and build a community. Dravet syndrome is an intractable epilepsy that begins in infancy for which there is currently no cure. Along with multiple seizures and seizure types, patients must also contend with the many co-morbidities associated with the condition. Our conferences empower caretakers and families to understand, seek out and put into place medical care and services that will meet the unique and complex needs of patients. DRAVET SYNDROME FOUNDATION’S MISSION: The mission of DSF is to aggressively raise research funds for Dravet syndrome and related epilepsies; to increase awareness of these catastrophic conditions; and to provide support to affected individuals and families. DSF provides support, education and advocacy for families and professionals dealing with the complex issues of this condition. DSF advances research to improve the quality of life for those living with Dravet syndrome. Since its inception in 2009, DSF has awarded over $2M in research grants and over $80K in patient assistance grants. WHY SUPPORT THE BIENNIAL CONFERENCE ON DRAVET SYNDROME?
