Technological advances in today’s automobiles require a highly skilled automotive repair technician. The AST program offers training in all 9 ASE areas of automotive diagnostics and repair with emphasis on electronic and computer-integrated systems found on today’s automobiles. The AST Program requires a minimum of two years to complete. Enrollment is open to those who qualify at the beginning of fall, winter, and spring quarters of each academic year. An Associate of Applied Science Degree in Automotive Service Technology is awarded upon the successful completion of the program. Find us using your mobile phone. Works on Android, iOS and other devices. ASE Master Certified Training Program YVC’s Automotive Service Technology program has been evaluated and certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and is at the highest NATEF level, Master Automotive Service Technology. This level is the same accreditation as all the highly marketed technical institutes. All instructors, at a minimum, are ASE Certified in the area they teach and have years of field (industry) experience. Credit toward the YVC AST AAS degree can be earned while in high school attending YV-Tech Skills Center’s Automotive Program thanks to NATEF Accreditation and an articulation agreement between the two programs.
