Updates
Since our last newsletter, the college club has completed many more upgrades. The dining room now has
new carpeting and the new comfortable chairs just arrived. To complement our exciting dinner menu, an
enhanced updated wine list has been created.
The midcentury design and architecture of the building is continuously evolving. The first and second
floor entry ways have new flooring. We have all new mattresses in the guest rooms and the new, lush,
and inviting linens have arrived! As summer is soon to be here so will the new lobby furniture, guest room
furniture and artwork which will further complete the finishing touches on the reinvention of your club!
As these upgrades to the building continue, the Club will continue to revitalize its events calendar for you
and your guests. Presently, the college club’s dynamic new website is being upgraded. We will continue
to communicate and update you about our upcoming events, promotions and dinner specials. Exciting
partnerships with Wellesley College and the Davis Museum, author readings, chamber music concerts,
holiday brunches, and outdoor barbeques are just a few of the events we have planned for the coming year.
We will bring back an improved “Canines and Cocktails” by partnering with stores and pet artists to enhance

Upcoming Events
We have brought back events that have been requested by our members and will start these on a quarterly
basis. Once the new Web Site is finished we will start updating the information on all events so that you can
plan ahead
Afternoon Teas (quarterly) $12.95 per person
Catch up with friends and colleagues. Take some tea in our relaxing atmosphere
of our Main Dining Room, overlooking Lake Waban. Delight in fluffy scones
topped with jam and a dollop of whipped cream and nibble on petite finger
sandwiches, delicate pastries and fresh fruit all created by our culinary
professionals led by Executive Chef Scott Hlavacek.
New to the afternoon teas is we will have a student from the music department play relaxing music to better
enjoy your time.

Canines and Cocktails (seasonally)
Please join us on the lawn of the College Club every Tuesday for Canines & Cocktails! You and your pooch can enjoy treats and beverages on our terrace facing beautiful Lake Waban,
while relaxing with friends and other dog owners. Also take this
opportunity to explore our dog friendly hotel. Please call or email
with questions, we look forward to seeing you and your tail-wager!
New to Canines and Cocktails we will host a monthly event in which we will invite a “pet friendly
business” to the event

The Wellesley College Club is delighted to work with the Arts and Culture
departments of Wellesley College by creating culinary events designed to
complement programs on the Arts calendar. The arts are central to the
Wellesley educational experience. They both complement and illuminate a
wide range of liberal art disciplines.
