CARE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDES ONE-STOP RESOURCE T ime and time again, Dale Victor would hear the frustrations of individuals struggling to find a ride to a doctor’s appointment, a social event or work. Sometimes they lived in rural areas often untouched by a regular transportation system. Other times, they had special needs and required a handicap accessible van and oxygen. As owner of Care Transportation, he knew seats sat empty every day along Minnesota roadways. Focused on increasing access to those seats, Victor started a free referral service. The name of the service is Coordinated Transportation Ride Network, Inc. a non-profit corporation also referred to RideNet. However, people may be unaware of how to access the programs. “Now, it just takes one phone call or click of the mouse for people to get the ride they need,” Victor said.
