Mental Health Association in Orange County, Inc. HUDSON HOUSE PROGRAM MANAGER JOB POSTING I. Title: Hudson House Program Manager II. Reports to: Division Director III. Job Objectives: Responsible for the daily operations, staffing, facility management and organizations of the Hudson House Programs. Perform duties while actively promoting an environment consistent with MHA’s Cultural Equity Policy. IV. Qualifications: V. Master’s in Social Work or related Licensed professional of the healing Arts with 2 years experience working with individuals with a mental illness or seriously emotionally disturbed preferred OR Master’s Degree in related field with 3 years experience working with individuals with a mental illness or seriously emotionally disturbed OR Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 5 years experience working with individuals with a mental illness or seriously emotionally disturbed. Supervisory experience required. Effective written and oral communication skills. Must be organized, self-motivated and have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to exercise sound judgment under crisis situations and to abide by regulations regarding confidentiality. Valid NYS Driver’s License and ability to drive with current driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage. Must be clear and maintain an acceptable record under the Office of Mental Health (OMH) mandated criminal background check process. Must be clear and maintain an acceptable record under the Medicaid Fraud & Abuse clearance process. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the daily operation of the following programs: Hudson House Transportation Travel Activity Club CACFP: Child and Adult Care Food Program ACCES-VR / Consumer Voc., Supported Education Directly supervise Hudson House Program Coordinator, Vocational Program Coordinator and Hudson House Van Drivers. VI. Other Duties: VII. Coordinate member referral and admission process Responsible for completing required data collection and statistical/program reports. Responsible for investigating and documenting incidents for OPWDD funded programs and sitting on the agency incident review committee. Coordinate NYS Dept. of Health CACFP Program including compliance of all required regulations, reporting, and data collection. Conduct weekly staff meetings. Conduct daily morning meetings for members. Establish and maintain linkages with appropriate community agencies and service providers. Explore and develop new concepts and project designs including project proposals. Develop and monitor program policies and procedures. Represent MHA at appropriate meetings. Oversee maintenance of Hudson House building and van. Oversee maintenance of phone systems, passwords, computers and security codes Assumes necessary job responsibilities of other staff as needed. Implement necessary staff trainings. Maintain building compliance code. Ensure policy and procedures are adhered to according to MHA and HH policy and procedure manual. Monitor and Oversee development of client group schedules, group protocols and implementation of PROS regulations. Hudson House staff responsible for 1 day of Helpline coverage weekly. Participate in MHA’s committees as needed.
