Repair Status
The industry’s first intelligent
repair tracking solution
AudaExplore Repair Status
To gain a competitive edge, you’ve got to get repaired
cars back on the road faster, while communicating better
with customers. Repair Status is designed to help you
do just that. As a Web-based technology solution, it
captures the status of vehicles in various stages of repair,
including tear down, repair, painting, detailing and final
delivery. By driving timely, proactive communication about
these various stages—to insurance companies, collision
repair facilities and vehicle owners—Repair Status
reduces incoming calls, improves repair cycle time,
and, ultimately, increases customer satisfaction. A
fast quality repair is a win-win outcome for all.
At AudaExplore, our goal is to drive efficiency into every aspect of the automotive claims, estimating and repair
process. By building intelligence into our software solutions, we deliver on the goal. With Repair Status, we have
developed an intelligent, Web-based solution for seamlessly capturing accurate information from multiple sources
and delivering it at the right time to optimize decision making and communication for your business.
Detailed repair tracking and
exception management with alarms
Easy information sharing with
integrated communication options
Repair Status tracks key stages in a repair process –
Assignment, Estimate Creation, Repair Start, Tear Down,
Repair, Paint, Detail, Car Ready, and Car Delivered. These
stages, and other necessary information, can easily be
viewed via our new worklist extended-view interface. This
interface is available for each vehicle repair being managed
and can be accessed by an insurance call center, direct
repair program (DRP) representative or repair facilities. And
because important issues can be overlooked in busy shops,
Repair Status is equipped with configurable alarms. These
time or event-based alerts let users know about repair
exceptions that may impact a vehicle’s delivery back to
its owner. Managing repairs by exception with automated
alarms lets users focus very quickly on repairs requiring
immediate attention.
In today’s increasingly mobile world, flexible communication
is critical, which is why Repair Status provides a variety of
options for communicating with insurers, vehicle owners
and repair facility representatives. With our automated
notifications feature, automatic emails can be sent to
DRP representatives based on alarm triggers or repair
status change. In addition, insurers can easily configure
personalized messages for vehicle owners that will be
sent upon status change. Users can also communicate
on an as-needed basis from within the application via the
integrated communication and comment center. Repair
Status currently supports email and will soon support textbased communication. All communications are bi-directional
in nature and don’t require a dedicated login to reply. This
ensures that all communications are logged within the
system for traceability and transparency.

Comprehensive data coverage
For insurance representatives and multi-shop operators,
accessing a central database of repair status information
is an ongoing challenge. With more than 20 different body
shop management systems available in the market, and a
variety of personnel making use of these systems at different
locations, tracking vehicle status has never been more
difficult. Solutions that do exist are proprietary and disruptive
to existing business processes. Repair Status solves this
issue by utilizing advanced data-pump technology that
extracts repair status information from existing body shop
management systems to provide data transparency and a
central location for repair status information. Repair shops
no longer have to follow a different process or use a
separate interface for providing repair status transparency
and communications with their business partners.
Web-based technology
with intelligent user interface
Repair Status is a Web-based application that provides
anytime, anywhere access to vehicle status information.
In addition, the application has been designed for ease
of use and user customization. Users can configure what
information is displayed and how it is displayed in their
different worklist “Views”. Views each have their own
pre-defined groupings and available columns, offering the
capability to sort, re-order, and add/delete columns, and
to filter for workgroups and save configurations for future
sessions. An integrated search capability allows users to
easily locate information and records. By simply clicking
on a claim record, users can access intelligent extended
views that provide data on repair status, contacts, estimate
summaries, rental information, communications and work
history, all without leaving the main worklist area. The ability
to stay in the worklist while accessing vital information in the
extended view will allow users to work more efficiently than
ever before.
