Duties included in the normal scope of employment:
The Employee understands and agrees that he/she is employed in a capacity to produce
certain intangible works as a condition of their employment, herein after referenced as the
Work. He/she has the full power to enter this agreement with the additional understanding
that no work created may infringe on the protected copyrights, patents, or trademarks of
any third party.
The Employee understands and agrees that the Work produced during the normal scope of
their employment is produced as a work made for hire for the express use of the Employer.
The Employee does hereby assign and transfer to the Employer all copyrights, patents, and
trademarks resulting from intellectual property developed, created, or invented by the
Employee during the scope of their employment, collectively known as the Work.
The Employee agrees that the Employer shall from the date of this agreement on, own said
copyrights, patents, or trademarks involved in the Work, with the right to benefit from, sell,
transfer, or release these rights in any way deemed appropriate by the Employer.
The Employee agrees to sign any routine or necessary documentation required for
registration of the Work with any government, regulatory, or registering organization.
In consideration of this Employee Release of Rights to Intellectual Property, the Employee
acknowledges sufficient consideration in the form of salary or wages.
