SCHWING TRUCK-MOUNTED CONCRETE PUMP S 17
THE MULTI-FUNCTIONAL MACHINE FOR TIGHT SPACES
The S 17 rounds out the SCHWING family of truck-mounted pumps with a basic, all-purpose, “entry-level” machine for deployment on restricted construction sites.
The 15 or 18 t chassis with its 4.20 m wheelbase, its overall height of 3.55 m and overall vehicle length of 8.36 m make this
highly maneuverable, space-economical vehicle ideal for urban jobs.
The placing boom with its special 270° C-joint allows the operator to reach all required working areas, and even permits
pouring up to bumper level.
The turret permits two full rotations – allowing the operator unimpaired freedom of movement regardless of how the boom
was folded at the previous construction site.
With an unfolding height of less than 5 m and its extensive additional loading capacity, the S 17 is particularly suitable for
indoor jobs.
This machine is equipped with a permanently attached 5 m long hose storage on the left side and a 3,1m long one on the right
as standard Available as an option is a fixed 5m long hose box on the left hand side capable of holding e.g. 100 m of DN 75
hose, stored in plastic sleeves.
Another optional hose box on the right offers space for an additional 60 m of DN 75 hose in 3 m segments.
A range of pump kits lets you optimally match special concrete properties and customer requirements for pumping capacities
and concrete pressure. And like all SCHWING truck-mounted concrete pumps, the S 17 is equipped with the Rock Valve. This
unique system ensures excellent suction and pumping performance, high economy, low wear and exceptional dependability.
Water tanks are available in 400 or 800 liter capacities; a turnable outlet and a concrete stop valve are just two of the many
available options.
The S 17 can also be equipped with a compressor and an air line can be mounted to the tip of the boom.
With a width of only 2,45m and a
height of only 3,52m this machine fits
into the tightest corners.
The optional left side hose box allows
the carrying of 100m of hoses in an
orderly fashion.
Well equipped 18 ton maxchine. The hose boxes can be loaded and unloaded with
the pumps own boom. All outriggers are dropped only vertically.
The optional turnable outlet allows the
operator to mount the hoses on either
side.
