D. USE AND EFFECT OF THE STUN GUN
1) Before use, put on the hand strap of the safety plug (2) around the wrist
of your hand and firmly grip the stun gun.
2) Switch-over the safety switch (1) by your thumb to the position ON and press
the trigger (6).
3) Touch by both outer contact electrodes (5) any part of the assailant’s body.
However, the parts most sensible to the stun gun are shoulders, joints,
abdominal parts, groins, thighs and loins.
4) Effects of the stun gun:
• 1/2 seconds ... short stroke, which causes a muscular
spasm and fright to the assailant.
! 1–2 seconds ... medium stroke, which may cause a fall
of the assailant to the ground and a mental commotion
and shock; however, the assailant is likely to stand-up
again after a short moment.
! 3–5 seconds ... full stroke, which causes the assailant
to loose orientation and a shock for several minutes,
it may also make him fall.
We recommend you not to show uselessly the stun gun to the assailant, since
moment of surprise plays very important role in such situations. It makes effect
of shock even stronger.
WARNING: A discharge lasting more than 2 seconds may cause a fall
of the assailant. Upon falling, the mere own weight of the assailant can
harm him.
We hope that you will never have to use this stun gun and that the device
will serve you only for a feeling of self-confidence and safety. If you have
POWER Max with you, you may be assured you have the right thing for your
defence.

A. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
B. INSTALLING OR REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES
Take care that any part of your hand or body never enters the so called
dangerous zone, defined by the head-piece and circles circumscribed
at a distance of 50 mm from contact electrodes (5). Not observing this principle
could cause that you will be hit by an electric stroke.
1) Stun gun is fed by two 9V batteries. Use only high quality 9V alkaline
batteries of the type Energizer 6LR61. The batteries last for approx. 4 years
when not used.
2) First of all make sure that the locking switch (1) is in the lower position OFF,
i.e. when taking the stun gun in hand, displace the locking switch by thumb
towards palm of your hand.
3) Pull out the safety-plug (2) with the hand strap. Safety for subsequent
handling is thus ensured.
4) Open the cover of the battery compartment by exerting a slight pressure on the marked arrow and by simultaneous sliding of the cover (3).
Apply on both batteries the contact plates and snap them thoroughly
together. Make sure that 9V batteries are connected with correct polarity. Insert batteries together with their wires into the opening compartment as shown in the figure.
5) Close the battery compartment by the cover (3).
6) Insert back the safety plug (2) with hand strap. From this moment,
the device is fully operative and you must therefore strictly follow
the safety instructions specified in the article A!!!
WARNING: When the safety plug (2) is pulled out, the device is inoperative. It will
be put into operative state by inserting the safety plug as far as possible – after
full snapping-in of the locking segments.

1) Keep your hand or parts of your body in a safe distance from the dangerous zone and switch by thumb the locking switch (1) upwards into the
position ON.
2) Press the trigger (6) and electric discharge will flash between the two inner
test electrodes (4) with a loud thunder crack. This discharge lasts as long as
you hold the trigger pressed. Excessively long testing reduces the useful
life of the batteries.
3) Lock the device by switching the locking-switch (1) back into the OFF
position any time before putting the stun gun away.
