1. Recipient and Postal Address

Registered customers may request CLP to send bills to another recipient and postal
address.

2. Registered Customer & Supply Address
Registered customers shall be liable to CLP for all charges payable to the Company in
respect of their accounts registered for particular supply address.

3. Account Number
Every electricity account has a unique account number for identification.
4. Deposit
CLP requires a security deposit on all electricity accounts.

5. Tariff Type
CLP's tariff comprises four categories, namely:
•Residential Tariff
•Non-Residential Tariff
•Bulk Tariff
•Large Power Tariff
6. Energy Charge
Energy Charge is calculated according to the readings of the meter, which records the
amount of electricity used, by applying the relevant tariff.
7. Fuel Cost Adjustment
Any fluctuation in actual fuel cost is charged or rebated to customers through the Fuel
Cost Adjustment.
8. Others
Other charges/rebate: They consist of charges, rebate and odd cents, excluding energy
charges and fuel cost adjustment.
9. Total Amount & Due Date
Customers are required to settle the bills on or before the due date.
10. Meter & Meter Reading Records
Units of electricity consumption are calculated with this formula: (Present Meter
Reading - Previous Meter Reading) x Multi Factor.
11. Consumption History
The bar graph shows the average daily electricity consumption for the latest 14
electricity bills.
