2015/2016 ACADEM IC YEAR SCHEDULE
The following academic year general calendar is valid for the academic year 2014/2015. The listed
deadlines are obligatory for all faculties and departments of the University of West Bohemia
(UWB) and shall therefore be observed by them. Organizational instructions regarding this
calendar issued by individual faculties and departments shall comply with this general calendar.
The calendar has been approved by the UWB management and by the Rector’s advisory board.

Students in their last year of study will follow the detailed 2015/2016 calendars stipulated by the
Deans of the individual faculties pursuant to the proposed study plans. In addition, the Deans will set
deadlines related to completion of study in a particular study programme/field of study. Binding
deadlines for students of doctoral study programmes are stipulated by the Deans of the relevant
faculties.
