IIT Bombay invites Technical Bid & Financial Bid for “Providing Labour work for various activities for the period from 1st December 2010 to 30th November 2011.” from the contractors having similar experience in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public sector Undertaking and having labour licence and valid registration with P.F. and ESIC authorities with challan of last 24 months. The details of work are given below:

Dates of sale of tender documents 04/10/10 to 15/10/10 up to 3.00 p. m., Date and time of receipts and opening of Technical Bid along with financial bid in the Estate Office IIT Bombay is 19/10/10 at 11.00 a. m. and 11.30 a.m. respectively.
The Technical Bid should contain the following details :
(1) Detailed year wise list of similar type of works along with amount carried out by the agency in last three financial years separately. Atleast one single work costing not less than 80% of value of estimated cost or two works costing not less than 50% of value of estimated cost or three works costing not less than 40% of value of estimated cost of any Govt. or semi Govt. or Public Undertaking organization during the highest biding year. Attested copies of work completion, work in progress certificate must be attached along with Work Order. (2) Detail statement for work in hand including balance commitment of work.
(3) Copy of P.F., ESIC registration certificate, Copies of challans for proof of payment made to respective authorities for last two years & Copy of PAN Number.
(4) Certified copy of labour licence issued by CLC/RLC State/Central for engagement of casual labour . 250 Nos. minimum. For any single work. (4) List of Equipment, Tools and List of trained Staff with their Qualification.
(5) Bank Solvency certificate of 40% of estimated amount issued by any Nationalized / Schedule Bank.
(6) EMD in the form of pay order or D. D. along with technical bid.
(7) Submit index sheet along with Technical Bid.
The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the above information received from the agencies & the agencies those who are having sufficient bid capacity i.e. The agencies bid capacity should be more than the estimate value. The tender of agencies having less bid capacity will be rejected and the other agencies financial bid will be opened. The date of opening of Financial Bid will be informed later to the eligible agencies. The Financial Bid should contain the entire tender document with signature. The Technical Bid and Financial Bid should be submitted in two separate envelops sealed with cello tape or vax., otherwise tender will be rejected summarily.
Litigation history of the agency is required to be submitted along with the application for issue of blank tender. No tender would be issued if any inquiry proceeding / criminal case is found pending against the agency.
IIT­Bombay reserve its rights to reject any or all applications for issue of blank tender forms, accept and reject any tender without assigning any reason and without any reference. Dean (IPS)
