I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. © Bryan Hudson | Vision Communications | www.VisioncomSolutions.com Vision Communications Changing times require tools that can adapt to change and serve those who serve God’s purposes Habakkuk 2:4 (NKJV) “Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.” © Bryan Hudson | Vision Communications | www.VisioncomSolutions.com Vision Communications What is New Media? New media has emerged from the convergence of “old” or traditional media, technological advances in digital media and Internet communications. Old media is indelible such as with clay tablets, typewriters, CD’s, and DVD’s. © Bryan Hudson | Vision Communications | www.VisioncomSolutions.com Vision Communications What is New Media? Digital media is at the heart of the new media revolution. It allows content to be reproduced, re-purposed and revised as needed for various uses. Old media technologies such as typewriters imposed text on paper, but the text could not be revised without re-typing. A word processing application such as Microsoft Word converts text to digital bits that may be re-arranged, copied, pasted and transferred and finally output to an analog medium such as paper. © Bryan Hudson | Vision Communications | www.VisioncomSolutions.com Vision Communications We Need Tools that Help us: Handle Our Business Engage Current & Future Supporters Minister to People © Bryan Hudson | Vision Communications | www.VisioncomSolutions.com Vision Communications 21st Century Changing Times Ministry in the 21st Century–especially in post-recession, resourcesstretched, changing times–requires efficiency, affordable tools, and scalable methods.
