CyberDome 7-Inch Rugged Housing Features Superior camera protection in a compact unit • Cast aluminum housing • Polycarbonate dome, clear or smoke finishes • Tamperproof screws • Available with any CyberDome® pan/tilt option • Coaxial or UTP video transmission options • IP65 environmental design T he 7-inch Rugged Housing Dome combines the ruggedness of a cast aluminum housing with the impact-resistance of a polycarbonate dome. The pendantmount dome’s housing is designed to satisfy IP65 installation requirements. The housing has internal 1.25 inch NPT pipe threads for easy mounting. An optional KTA-28 cast aluminum wallmount bracket can be purchased, increasing mounting options. These options allow mating with the standard pole-, corner- or roof- mount adapters that are also available. Tamperproof screws secure the dome to the housing to ensure greater security. The standard heater/fan option provides operations to -25 ºC (-13 ºF). An optional extreme temperature version will permit operation in temperatures as low as -40 ºC (-40 ºF). The housing can be ordered with a variety of lower domes. Power input is lowvoltage 24 VAC. Variable Speed Control A KTD-405 keypad can control multiple rugged housing pendant domes with speeds up to 400º per second between preset positions.
