COUNSELOR’S CORNER Welcome back to another exciting school year. At the high school level we will be implementing a new program in conjunction with the Hillsdale Community Foundation. There will be different areas that each of the grade levels will be looking at. In 9th grade the students will be focusing on career cruising, looking at career options and interests based on the assessment they fill out. In 10th grade they will be going on awareness tours which will include college visits, manufacturing companies and health care just to name a few. In 11th grade they will go on Talent Tours where they will explore more in-depth on their chosen career. In each of these grade levels the students will be exploring areas based on their career cruising assessment. In 12th grade we will be focusing on future corps, where the students will be filling out college applications, scholarships, FAFSA, and resume’ building just to name a few.
