Wastewater OD-20
The Odour Control Filter Assembly unit is ready for use and can be installed on A.R.I. combination air valves for wastewater, models D-020, D-025.
The unit absorbs the noxious Odours emitted from a wastewater system, which are a nuisance in both the residential as well as in the municipal environment.
The unit is portable and the spent activated carbon is easily disposable.
No heavy equipment is needed and installation is simple and fast.

The Odour Control Filter Assembly is shipped fully assembled and ready to be attached to the A.R.I. Wastewater
Air Valve models D-020, D-025.
The Odour Control Filter Assembly can only be connected to air valves having an assembled male quick connector in their discharge outlet. If this not the case, please call an A.R.I. service representative to obtain the correct parts.
The installation of the Odour Control Filter Assembly with the connected A.R.I. Wastewater Air Valve will require a minimum width of 1.5M in the manhole (Fig. 2). The height of the unit will depend on the location of the
Odour Control Filter Assembly.
Optional Installations – the Odour Control Filter Assembly can be installed either on a cement block (Fig. 1) or in a hanging position by attaching a hook to the manhole construction and connecting the Odour Control Filter
Assembly to it by using the two lifting rings found on the assembly cover (Fig. 2).

Attach the quick coupler end (3) of the Odour Control Filter Assembly to the cam lock type quick connection (2) on the wastewater air valve.
Securely close the two fasteners on the quick coupler (3).
NOTE: The unconnected side of the “T” connection containing the one-way in check valve (4) must be unobstructed and able to freely intake air. The “T” connection can be rotated to insure the check valve has unobstructed clearance.
Place a concrete support block (8) or any other type of level support block (at least 20 cm in height) on the ground next to the wastewater valve.
NOTE: Make certain that there are no kinks in the tubing and the filter cartridge is above the water level in case of flooding in the manhole.
Stand the Odour Control Filter Assembly unit (7) level on the support block.
The unit is now connected and installed and will operate automatically.
