The process allows for subsequent acid copper treatment without the need for a nickel strike. Based on the Immersion copper application, CUPROSTAR IC is followed by either a copper strike or bright copper. ELPELYT SB-45 deposits exhibit extremely low tensile CUPROSTAR® 594 copper strike provides increased throwing power, improved uniformity and levelling for the subsequent copper deposit. CUPROSTAR acid copper produces brilliant and ductile deposits with outstanding leveling. Ductility is important to absorb the stress between the plastic and plated layers caused by temperature changes. CUPROSTAR NC cyanide-free alkaline process is engineered for use on all commonly used metal base materials, including zinc die cast. The process exhibits exceptional throwing power and adhesion on complex part geometries. NICKEL DEPOSITION (CHOOSE ONE) Low Tensile Stress N/mm2 ELPELYT® SB-45 semi-bright nickel is engineered to ensure that internal stress of the nickel deposit is reduced upon Semi-bright direct impact, nickel, eliminating approx. 10 - 12 μm adhesion loss. thickness ELPELYT GS-7 bright nickel is specially engineered for plating on metal substrates. The nickel reduces costly buffing and polishing steps in the manufacturing process, significantly decreases nickel metal consumption and enables new product design. Highest Leveling Performance HCD Areas Fill Percentage ELPELYT LS-1 bright nickel features improved brightness across a broad current density range, delivering higher reflectivity compared to conventional bright nickel processes. The process exhibits exceptional throwing power resulting in better corroBright or sion behavior satin nickel deposit, due to thicker approximately 10 - 12 μm nickel plating thickness in low current density areas. ELPELYT® SB-45 deposits exhibit extremely low tensile stress values versus conventional semi-bright nickel processes. LCD Areas Traditional Nickel ELPELYT® GS-7 Plating after 10 minutes at 2 amps current. PEARLBRITE® satin nickel provides a uniform, smooth, satin bright to full matte finish over a broad current density range. A visually appealing and attractive alternative to bright nickel, the process may be deposited on any metal or plastic surface which can accept electrolytic nickel . The uniform finish is easily reproduced. ENTHONE® Cu-Ni-Cr Systems STYLE. FUNCTION. VALUE. RELIABILITY. MICROPOROUS NICKEL DUR-NI® microporous nickel delivers unsurpassed corrosion protection while enabling consistent and reproducible Microporous microporous nickel, approximately deposits 1 - 2 μm uniformly across thickness the chromium surface. Fuhrmann Test After 48 h CASS Test With the Enthone Fuhrmann Test the number of pores present can be reliably established, and a comparison and correlation between the Fuhrmann Test and CASS Test results are possible. CHROME PLATE (CHOOSE ONE) Decorative ANKOR® bright chrome, decorative approximately 0.25 - 0.5 μm bright chrome thickness processes offer high deposition rates, uniform deposits and exceptional corrosion and wear resistance. Processes are formulated for use under a wide range of current densities and temperatures that enable simplified operation. TRILYTE® Dusk trivalent chrome provides dark, lustrous deposits. The environmentally-friendly process delivers more uniform metal distribution while reducing or eliminating high current density burning, as compared to conventional hexavalent systems. TRILYTE CF white trivalent chrome for non-steel applications provides exceptional coverage and a bright, light color comparable to traditional hexavalent chrome layers.
