It is a major supplier of signalling system to Taiwan metro lines. - Alstom currently has 3 offices in Taipei and 2 major signalling projects under execution in 2 cities of Taiwan: Taipei and Taichung. - Alstom has provided signalling system to all metro lines in Taipei MRT Network except the Brown Line. - Currently, Alstom has 40 employees in Taiwan. Partnerships Through its strong presence in Taiwan, Alstom has built trustful relationship with its customer, Systemwide E&M Project Office (SEMPO) in Taiwan. In addition, at project level, Alstom historically partner with CTCI (Taiwanese company) and Kawasaki as consortium for metro projects. Awards and Certification Alstom Taiwan is part of Alstom global certifications, such as ISO-9001 and CMMI Level 3. It participates actively into the periodic audit of these international certifications. For example, in December 2014, Taichung Green Line (Taiwan) passed the CMMi L3 evaluation, which contributed to the overall Alstom CMMi L3 certification process in Asia and Pacific region.
