It handles all trajectory generaon funcons and runs moon programs. PC communicaon with the DMM is simple using a standard USB port and Graphic User Interface with a BASIC type programming language. The controller supports Windows 7, Windows XP, Win CE, Linux, Labview, C#, C++, Visual Basic, and VB.net. The DMM can be operated in two basic modes, either with direct communicaon to a host PC or in standalone mode. In PC host command mode, the DMM accepts moon commands via its USB interface. In standalone mode, the controller executes stored programs with an autorun funcon upon power up. In addion, programs can be triggered by digital I/ O or through the front panel program selecon thumbwheel and start/stop bu9ons. Pre-installed programs include homing and axis jogging rounes. The controller also ships with a highly robust applicaon development environment that allows graphical creaon of Posion and Velocity vs. me moon profiles. This intuive tool allows definion of trapezoidal or s-curve coordinated moon profiles without the need to invest hours of so;ware development to get a new moon project up and running.
