EXAM INFORMATION FOR PROCTORS
General Information
There are 5 exams in this program. General rules allow for test center issued scratch paper and test
center issued pencil. One exam requires the proctor to print an essay question for the candidate.
Consult the chart below to determine which exam requires the printing of an essay question for the
candidate.

Check-In Requirements
1 unexpired Government-issued photo ID that bears the candidate’s first and last name.
First and Last name on ID must match the name in the PSI system (for any discrepancies, use the
Acceptable Names Discrepancy document to determine if the candidate’s name variance will be
permitted).
Photo of candidate will NOT be taken.

Score Reports
After completion of the exam, the testing workstation displays a “thank-you” screen with a message
stating that NALA will mail test scores to candidates. Results will be mailed approximately 30 days after
the close of the testing window.
Additional Requirements:
For the one exam that requires the printing of an essay question, click on the link that says “CLICK
this link and PRINT PDF for Candidate.” When the candidate has completed the exam, the
proctor must shred the essay question.
*Important – Do NOT provide the essay printout until they are seated and start the actual exam. They are
not allowed to review the essay before the exam timer actually starts.
*Please pay special attention to the exam title/name. Any exam that is listed with ADA in the
title is a special accommodations exam that allows for additional time.
