What is School-Day?
School-Day is a web-based school networking and secure payment solution developed in response to real needs and
challenges expressed by school communities - parents, teachers and school administrators alike - across the province. It is
School-Day's mission to increase communication, ease administrative burdens, streamline school processes and,
ultimately, ensure that each child receives the most rewarding school experiences possible - both in and outside of the
classroom.
Who can join School-Day?
Any parent or guardian with a child who is registered at a participating school can join and use School-Day.
How do I reset a lost password or username?
To retrieve or reset a lost username or password select Lost Password from the School-Day homepage at www.schoolday.com. Your username will be emailed to you, and you will have the option to reset your password. Alternately, you
may contact the School-Day support team at support@school-day.com.
Why is School-Day collecting personal information about me?
School-Day only collects and stores information that we believe is absolutely necessary to service your needs and those of
your school board. We do not sell/share your information to/with third parties or affiliates.
We keep your email address on file so that we can communicate with you, if needed. We keep a record of payment
transactions that you have made on behalf of your children, so that we can report them back to you and to your school
board. We do not store your credit card information.
Is my information safe with School-Day?
School-Day guarantees security. All data is kept private in our secure database which can be accessed with proper user
credentials only. For more information about data confidentiality, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
School-Day operates on an "invitation only" basis; thereby, eliminating many of the security threats associated with
social/business networking sites. Our unique secure-match feature ensures that only the child's parent/legal guardian has
access to his or her information.
Credit cards are verified and payments processed by an established and reputable third-party company, Beanstream. Our
payment gateway is PCI Level 1 certified. That means a Visa approved assessor completes an onsite assessment of our
facility each year and quarterly scans of our network.
We've partnered with top technology companies to ensure we make the grade: TD Bank Financial Group, Equifax,
Paymentech, Elavon, Acxsys, TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Global Payments (GPS) and GPayments.
