KNOWLEDGE IS LIGHT OVERVIEW
Knowledge is Light is an art inspired annual event seeking to promote positive social change and cultural understanding,
core elements of conflict resolution. The event is characterized by its gallery of images depicting critical issues impacting
the Earth and its people. The photographs will reflect various perspectives on these pressing matters affecting the local to
global community.
The event uses creative arts as a peaceful means of generating discussions on global issues. Through involvement in this
exhibition, local and international artists are provided with a platform to advocate important themes using their works.
Our 2016 theme - Peace, Justice, and Security - corresponds with that of the International Conference on Conflict Resolution
Education.
The gallery will be showcased in the Ohio Statehouse to a backdrop of elegant Greek architecture.
