Dr. Dilek YILDIZ was born in Cankaya, Turkey in 1973.
She is a graduate of Middle East Technical University
(METU) in Ankara (1996, B.Sc. and 1999, M.Sc. in Faculty
of Civil Engineering) and Von Karman Institute (VKI) for
Fluid Dynamics (2000, Diploma Course, Environmental and
Applied Fluid Dynamics Department).
From 2001 to 2005 she has performed her doctoral
research on the subject "experimental investigation of
superheated liquid jet atomization due to flashing
phenomena" at VKI and defended her thesis at ULB in
2005.
She has worked as a Senior Research Engineer at VKI till August 2006.
From September 2006 on, she has been working as a Patent examiner at European
Patent Office, The Hague, The Netherlands.
