8700 - SPECIFICATION FOR MOBILIZATION
8700 - 1 DESCRIPTION
1.01 This specification describes the terms and conditions for the mobilization to the project site.
8700 - 2 MATERIALS
8700 - 3 CONSTRUCTION
3.01 The Contractor shall do the necessary preparatory work and operations, including but not limited
to, those required for the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals to the
project site.
8700 - 4 MEASUREMENT
8700 - 5 PAYMENT
5.01 Payment for mobilization will be on the lump sum contract unit price. Partial payments will be
made as follows.
(a) When five percent or more of the total amount bid is earned, 25 percent of the amount bid for
mobilization will be paid.
(b) When ten percent or more of the total amount bid is earned, 50 percent of the amount bid for
mobilization will be paid.
(c) When 50 percent or more of the total amount bid is earned, 100 percent of the amount bid for
mobilization will be paid.
