3m in width and about 10m maximum in length.
Laminated glass
Lamisafe™ /SECU-RE
Consists of two pieces of glass with an interlayer film inserted in between. Very few fragments
scatter even when glass breaks and objects do not penetrate the glass easily. Excellent for
disaster/crime prevention. Also has UV blocking properties.
IGU (Insulated
Glass Unit)
Pairglass™
MyMute™ (noise reduction)
Consists of two pieces of glass with dried air and heat-insulating gas enclosed in between.
Provides excellent heat insulation, energy conservation and dew condensation prevention.
Low-E IGU
Sunbalance™
Pairplus™ (renovations)
IGU with special metal film coating on the inner surface of one of the glass. Provides enhanced
heat insulating/shielding performance.
Tempered glass
Temperlite™/School
Temper™
Mistron Ace™/Home Mistron
Safety glass with the strength 3~5 times greater than ordinary glass, produced through special
heating and cooling processes. Superior resistance to breakage, and even when breaks, it
fragments into small pebble-sized pieces.
Heat-resistant
Tempered Glass
Myboka™
Fire-resistant glass with heat-resisting properties, produced through a special tempering process.
This non-wired glass provides a clear view.
Mirrors
Sunmirror™G
Environmentally friendly mirror with lead-free back paint coating.
Colored glass
LACOBEL™/MATELUX™
Painted glass produced by adding special paint coating on the back surface of glass. Mainly used
as interior glass for commercial facilities.
Figured glass
Kasumi™

Glass
AGC’s fire-resistant product lineup consists of wired
glass and non-wired heat-resistant tempered glass
“Myboka™.”
It serves as a good protection against crime and
disasters. The interlayer film laminated between two
pieces of glass will hold the shards in place even if the
glass is broken. It also prevents the glass from being
completely penetrated.
Non-wired heat-resistant tempered glass:
1) Provides a clear view
2) No thermal breakage (as compared to wired glass)
3) Lighter-weight & easier open/close than wired glass

Clearsight™
Lacobel™
Anti-reflective Glass Ideal for Outdoor Use
Colored glass for interior use

coating applied on both surfaces, thereby
reducing light reflectance on the glass surface.
With improved coating durability, Clearsight can
be used outdoor. Also, it can be processed into
double glazing glass and laminated glass.
Lacobel is painted glass for indoor applications,
which is made by applying a layer of special
coating onto the back surface of the glass.
This product creates a beautiful color contrast,
adding a stylish atmosphere to the room interior.

TCO glass substrates
ANS/VU/HU
Based on over 30 year’s research and development, AGC successfully developed TCO glass
substrates that enhance power generation efficiency of thin-film silicon PV devices. It has high
transmission rate and low resistivity and its uniquely textured surface is optimal for scattering light
from the sun.
AR coated cover glass
Solite™ Plus
AGC’s high-transmission figured glass ensures high energy transmission over the whole solar
spectrum because of its glass composition, production technology and low-reflection coating that
are optimized specially for PV devices.
Higher strain point glass
substrates
PV200
The higher strain point glass substrates are developed based on AGC’s wide range of glass
composition development technologies and production technologies. No distortion under the
temperature range of around 600 degrees; this type of glass substrates enables high-temperature
thin-film coating for compound PV modules (CIS, CdTe, etc.), contributing to the formation of
greater efficiency optical absorbing layers.
CSP mirror
Sun Mirox™
High-reflection mirror is manufactured by using high-transmission float glass created based on
AGC’s glass composition development and production technologies. This mirror has a high
energy reflection over the whole solar spectrum.

(2nd clad)
Refractive
No light leakage even when tightly bent
Achieves a minimum bending radius of 5 mm.
A consumer fluorine-based plastic fiber featuring high
transmission speed and ease of handling and
connection
 FONTEX™ is the world's first optical fiber that enables
high bandwidth and large capacity data communication
with a transmission speed of 10Gbps or more. The
cable features resistance to tight bending, allowing data
communication which could not have achieved with
existing silica-based fibers or POFs.
 Double cladding structure successfully prevents light
from leaking out of the core. (See the figure in the upper
left.) FONTEX™ is an incredibly easy to handle optical
fiber that doesn’t have any kinks that inherently form in
plastic and, above all, allows data communication under
tight knots or bends. (See the figure in the lower left.)
 FONTEX™ adopts a tight cord which the cable covering
is directly attached to the fiber circumference (See the
figure in the lower left.) This leads to cost reduction and
simplified terminal treatment processing, allowing
anyone to handle the cable with ease.
Easy to Assemble and

 FONTEX is a safe and reliable plastic optical fiber
(POF) for general household use. It is suitable for largevolume data transmissions, which are essential for
next-generation 4K-TVs, and enables transmission
even when it is handled roughly or is sharply bent.

Refrigerants with Low Environmental Impact
AMOLEA™
(Under development)
New Refrigerant for Air-conditioners
 AGC successfully reduced the global-warming potential (GWP)
to about one-sixth that of conventional products, while
delivering equivalent performance.
 AMOLEA™ helps achieve both low GWP and energy saving.
HFO-1234yf
New-generation Automobile Refrigerant
 AGC established production technologies for HFO-1234yf ahead
of its competitors.
 1234yf is a new environmentally-friendly refrigerant for
automobile air conditioning with a very low GWP which is 1/1,300
or less than that of conventional products.
*Comparison with HFC-410A. **Comparison with 134a for automobile air-conditioning systems
