Description
High capacity water heater for water/water operation. External heat exchanger
with free floating turbulator rods for increased efficiency and self cleaning effect.
Insulated hot water storage tank, upright standing. All parts in contact with
water are made entirely of stainless steel AISI-316Ti. 'Anti-Legio' design fully
compliant with European anti-legionella recommendations. Primary & secondary
circulating pumps, motorised control valve on primary circuit, 4 temperature
sensors for preheat start-up, heating cycle start, heating cycle stop and antifouling cooling cycle. Microprocessor control unit with volt free output signals
for boiler request and alarm. Input signal for remote operation. All components
are pre-assembled and wired. Simple on-site assembly.

 Output rating: 100 - 600 kW
 Storage capacity: 540, 1000, 2000 litres, or larger
 Peak hot water output: 3030 - 18440 litres/hr at 45°C
(Higher output and storage capacities available on request)

Microprocessor control unit
User friendly menus for customised installation. Exact control of programmed hot
water temperature. Anti-fouling cycle and permanent monitoring of secondary
circuit differential pressure loss with fouling alarm, uploadable to BMS. Legionella
decontamination cycle. Continuous status monitoring and memory storage of
output values.
Storage tank insulation
CFC-free hard polyurethane foam (fire protection class B2 DIN 4102)
Grey aluminium casing, removable.
70mm thickness for tank sizes below 800 litres
90mm thickness for tank sizes from 800 litres
Accessories optional
 Violet aluminium front cover
 External cooling for anti-fouling
 Heat exchanger sludge flushing kits
 T5 strap-on temperature sensor for district heating
 Remote control and monitor via PC or BMS using TCP/IP
network, internet or telephone.
Differential pressure sensor ensures operational safety by
permenantly monitoring for possible heat exchanger fouling. Fitted as
standard.

To produce hygienic hot water at 45°C ECOTHERM recommends running the ECOTHERM High Capacity Water Heater at 60°C for optimum safety
against legionella infection, and then using a mixing unit (available from ECOTHERM on request) to mix down to 45°C for hot water distribution.
