FLUSH DOORFRAMES SURFACE-FLUSH MODEL Aluminium Flush Doorframes. The well-defined and clear forms of flush frame models for doors and double glazing is one of Küffner’s trademarks. Distinct edge radii, with a radius of only 0,5mm, as well as the characteristic appearance of anodized or powder-coated surfaces can be produced only with extruding aluminium profiles. The high quality of the surfaces and workmanship, in combination with a well-conceived mounting technology ensures durability of the overall design, which fulfils the standards of sustainability. The sophisticated system of the basic frame, with the attached aluminum plaster end profil or drywall finishing profiles, allows a practical mounting, by producing an exact wall opening, before the completion of the wall surfaces. The two-layered aluminum frames are mounted at the very end, after the cleaning, plastering, painting and flooring work, together with the wooden or glass doors. The Features. The image of a Küffner frame is defined by its selection of material as well as through a consistent language of forms. With the objective of implementing good design in practice-oriented constructions, Küffner has spent decades developing and producing aluminium frames, which, after completion of the walls and floors, are installed in one go along with the wooden or glass door leaves. For over 40 years Küffner frames have proved themselves for all types of construction purposes and applications in the public and private spheres. Thus, only the highest construction standards, quality and durability, through to the single-type reversibility of the products and 100% recycling fulfil the requirements of a sustainable architecture. Shadow gab frame type USBV-G Soffit frame type FZS The desire to build a frame into a wall opening flush with the surface and to efficiently install it, led to the idea of a sub-frame. As a rule, this is delivered in advance and installed along with the relevant aluminium rendering final dry construction profile. Sub-frames and rendering profiles are precisely bespoke prefabricated to match and delivered by Küffner. By the exact installation in rough wall openings in the building, the prerequisites are created for the later mounting of the aluminium frames. Here, the perpendicularly mounted rendering profile of the basic frames, ensure a smooth transition as well as an even wall thickness in the area of the wall connection. The screed or fluid floor, as well as the flooring is followed by a last dimensional measurement for the final production of the aluminium frames for doors and glazing. When inserting flush closed frames of the HARDLINE series or also MODERNLINE, the clamp-shell frame construction encompasses the basic frame a form such that a surrounding shadow gap emerges. This shadow gap is defined by the rendering or the final dry construction profile made of aluminium. As a rule, the surface of the shadow gap is selected to conform to the frame surface, or else also painted with the wall surfaces. There are also aluminium solutions with sub-frames and cover profile for the installa- tion of exposed concrete or exposed masonry. In these cases, the unavoidable construction tolerances can also be practically used with the shadow gap. Soffit frames likewise describe Küffner flush frames, which are mostly surface flush, but also occasionally built around a defined dimension protruding from the wall. The accompanying basic frames are likewise used for producing an exact wall opening, whereby the rendering profile is no longer visible after completion of the frame mounting. Depending on the frame variation an all around shaddow gap can be profiled directly within the aluminium frame so as to augment the sophisticated appearance, like the SLIMLINE frame type NZS (not illustrated here). The high manufacturing quality in combination with solid fixing technology ensures an extraordinary durability of the Küffner frames, which, when required, can also be dismantled or exchanged without damage to the body of the building. ■ Two part frame construction for subse- quent installation ■ The mountings of frames and doors after the rendering, painting and flooring ■ Suitable for various door thicknesses ■ Bespoke manufacturing to suit customers requirements ■ Innovative wall connecting forms and possibilities ■ Extruded and aluminium profiles (AlMgSi0.5) EN AW-6060 T66 based on EN 573-3 and EN 755-2 ■ High quality surfaces in anodised or powder coated surfaces based on the RAL, DB or NCS colour scale ■ Pre-assembled mitred corners with concealed steel re-inforced corner fixing plates ■ Simple mountings and adjustments by steel and screw-on anchor (partly 3-D adjustable) ■ Longevity and high mechanical durability as well as chemical stability ■ High longevity by reversibility and deconstruction as well as recycling ■ Available with EI30 / FD30 fireproof doors (Please get in touch with us for further information) Aluminium door frames Skirting profiles Aluminium panels Media pillars and ducts Laminated glass elements Barrier-free doors Aluminium frames are frequently combined with flush aluminium frames with suitable surface-flush wall profile or skirting boards.
