From the conception of Loadcraft the founding fathers came from a desire to serve the oilfield needs.
Loadcraft Pole Trailers
(1900’s)
In 1916, Fred Spencer developed Loadcraft’s first Pole Trailer for
oilfield use in the early Kansas oilfield. This was the beginning of a
long and brilliant series of advancements in equipment to be
designed and manufactured to meet the oilfield needs.
From the early Pole Trailers, Loadcraft found away to serve the
oilfield and continued with designing and building over 50 models
of trailers for transporting the oilfield.
Never Been Done
( 1960- 1970’s)
In the early 1960-1970 Loadcraft designed and produced a concept
of transport that moved a 600 ton nuclear reactor, never before
done.
This was the spark to begin the
MOD/IGN units up to 200 tons,
manufactured in Brady, Texas to
transport single lift loads never
before moved all over the world in
energy and oilfield sectors, all over
the USA
and overseas
markets.
New Concepts: Moveable Structures
( 1970 – 1980’s)
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Loadcraft was again leading the
oilfield with new concepts for making oilfield structures moveable,
such as:
ƒDesert Rigs
ƒSubstructures on wheels
ƒMast transports on wheels
ƒSpecial dollies to follow the
prime movers in transportation
of single mast, large diameter
pipe & casing
ƒSpecial prime movers were
designed and manufactured to
supply the oilfield with special
carrier designs to allow the
oilfield to have a unique truck
fitted to the equipment.
International Markets (1980-2000’s)
Loadcraft began
building a fleet
of Rigs from
150 – 1000hp.
2004 & Forward
We continue with our products developed, designed & produced
under the name of Loadcraft. We offer in addition to all the
standard rigs our drilling packages up to 2000hp.
We manufacture rigs to suit:
¾Well Servicing & Workover from 150HP to 750HP these are Mobile and suited for the oilfield
¾We manufacture mobile drilling rigs from 750HP to 1100HP and 1500 HP to 2000 HP Pad Drilling Rigs
Loadcraft Skidding System
Loadcraft has recently developed a rig skidding system to assist
in skidding the rig over multiple well locations without rigging the
rig down. There is no down time going from well to well for the
operator with this concept.

Rig Site Noise / Sound Abatement
Through Loadcrafts continued efforts to serve the oilfield needs
we are jointly pursuing the customers needs at the rig site to
reduce noise levels.
Design & System Engineering
Principle utilizes industry leading prediction and modeling software which can
calculate the sound absorption coefficient on all surfaces and evaluate the effects
of barriers, including effects of ground impedance and thermal gradients.
Utilizing the latest CAD technology we produce drawings ranging from preliminary
proposal drawings, detailed submittal drawings for customer approval to assembly
& manufacturing details and bills of material. Our range of engineering disciplines
include acoustics, mechanical, structural, electrical and civil.
Product Manufacturing
Manufacturing details and bills of material created by our design team are turned
into a wide range of standard and custom products and components by our
manufacturing group. Our complete metal fabricating operation is geared towards
the production of our industry leading PE-Series® portable and locationassembled systems.
