MFBs – we have supported in strategic planning, product development and training SMEs - we worked with one leading supermarket chain in Machakos, Makueni and Kitui and helping in transforming it from a whole sale and distribution store to a supermarket chain over the last 6 years through strategy development and institutional structuring, rebranding and marketing Nature of our work in financial inclusion • We have a good understanding of the microfinance operations and systems • Currently we are expanding our horizons to include Water and Sanitation as well as renewable energy. • The WASH work is on going. • Our interest is increasing demand for improved sanitation, our journey in this area is well underway.
