Cashword Game Procedures
This Game is subject to the Rules for Scratchcard Lottery Games (“the
Rules”) which appear in a separate document available for inspection
at Retailers, and to these Procedures. The meaning of any word or term
in these Procedures shall be as defined in the Rules unless the context
clearly indicates otherwise.
Game Name: “CASHWORD”
Game Number: “0609”
Retail Sales Price: £3 per Ticket
There is a 1 in 3.78 overall chance of winning a prize on each Ticket.
There are 26,129,400 Tickets in the initial print run of this Game.
Play Style and Determining Winners for CASHWORD
The Scratchcard is made up of two sections, identified as YOUR LETTERS
and WORD GRID. Scratching off the coating on the YOUR LETTERS section
will reveal 18 Play Symbols.
The Game is played by scratching off all of the coating on the YOUR
LETTERS section to reveal the Play Symbols, then matching those
Play Symbols to the Play Symbols shown on the WORD GRID to make
completed words. In order to confirm and verify that a Play Symbol in the
WORD GRID matches a Play Symbol in the YOUR LETTERS section, players
should scratch off that Play Symbol on the WORD GRID to mark the
identical Play Symbol.
To win a prize listed in the PRIZE TABLE, a Player must match Play Symbols
from the YOUR LETTERS section to the WORD GRID that complete at least
three words. A Player who has a Ticket with three or more completed
words shall be entitled, subject to the Rules, to the corresponding prize described in the PRIZE TABLE. Words within
words (for example TO, TON, LET in the word STONE) will not be considered ‘complete’ words.
