CONNECT is a 3day leadership retreat where carefully selected Student Organization Leaders begin to define and identify what it will take to recognize their individual potential within their Organizations. Through leadership development activities, teambuilding exercises, leadership style assessments, networking, collaborative activities and more, participants begin to learn and practice the skills and concepts needed to be the best leader that they can be. For many, CONNECT is the launching point and catalyst for their future success. Participants will focus on a different aspect of leadership through exercises, discussions, presenters and observing current events. Topics include, but are not limited to: defining leadership, personality assessment, team building and communication, campus climate and campus responsibility, management best practices, and building and working on interpersonal relationships.
