Camera Power Surge Protector
CCTV
The Edco CP-24 surge protector is easily installed directly at and in series with a
camera's power terminal. The Edco CP-24 uses 2.1mm jacks to connect to the
cameras power adaptor and power feed. High-speed SAD technology clamps high
energy transients that could damage the CCTV equipment.

1. Disconnect the power wire at
camera and at the source.
2. Connect "protected" side of Edco
CP-24 to the camera side of the
wire and "unprotected" side of
the device to the power source
side of the wire.
3. Reconnect power source to camera.

Notes:
1.The Edco CP-24 may be purchased in combination with the Edco CCTV-1 video
line surge protector. For both devices order the Edco CP-CCTV.
2.The Edco CP-24 shall be installed per the applicable requirements of the
National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.

Edco CCTV-1
Closed Circuit TV Camera Protection
The Edco CCTV-1 application is specifically designed for lightning protection on
closed circuit TV cameras. The protector is easily installed with standard type BNC
coax connectors. The Edco CCTV-1 offers low loss even at frequencies approaching
500 Mhz. This is important for error-free data communication applications.
