I. Ground Prep
1. Temporarily remove top cap and any round decorative element to expose support
bracket and wires.
Route socket wires through the bracket, element, and cap. Close fixture leaving
wires and screws protruding through holes in cap.
Remove canopy ASM from box and separate J-box pan from canopy by loosening
the (3) side screws. Twist apart to separate. VERIFY THAT THE ROUND DECORATIVE ELEMENT (IF REQUIRED) IS ON FIXTURE PRIOR TO CONTINUING!
4. Route socket conductors from fixture through canopy center hole and place
canopy over extended screws on fixture top (See Figure 1B).
5. Adjust canopy piece and fixture cap until both screw heads are fully captured on
both parts. Tighten both screws in position. SCREWS MUST BE COMPLETELY
FORWARD IN KEYHOLES FOR FIXTURE TO BE
CENTERED! Adjust if necessary.

II. Ceiling Installation
6 . Hang mounting pan by routing J-box wires through back of pan, and using
either 3.5 or 4.5 inch key holes, secure to J-box (Figure 1C).
7 . Hook the safety chain to the canopy's side hole to suspend the entire
assembly. Make all required electrical connections using wire-nuts.
8 . Tuck in all wires, close assembly to mounting pan and twist to engage screws
into L-slots.
9 . Tighten screws. INSTALLATION COMPLETE.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
For Your Protection, Read Carefully
1. Electric current can cause painful shock
or serious injury unless handled properly.
For your safety, always remember the following:
· Turn off the power supply.
· Ground the fixture to avoid potential
electrical shocks.
· Do not handle an energized fixture or
energize any fixture with wet hands,
when standing on a wet or damp surface, or in water.
· Double check all electrical connections
to be sure they are tight and correct.
2. Specific safety information concerning
lamps:
· Match wattage of fixture and lamp exactly.
· Do not remove or insert lamp when power
is on.
· Do not scratch glass or subject lamp to
undue pressure as either may cause
lamp breakage.
· Protect operating lamp from sources
of moisture.

TROUBLE SHOOTING CHART
Check for any visible damage to the lamp or frame-in module. If they seem in good condition, locate the problem in
the following list of possible causes and corrective actions.
Symptom
Possible Cause
Corrective Action
LAMP FAILS TO
LIGHT
·Circuit feeding the fixture not energized
·Wiring error in circuit or module connection
·Check circuit breaker or fuse to ensure that circuit is energized.
·Examine fixture splice box to ensure that connections are
correct.
·Remove the faulty lamp and substitute another lamp, preferably
one that is known to light. If the lamp lights, replace the original
with a new one.
·Check line voltage at fixture. Check open circuit voltage.
·Check circuit continuity.
·Check ballast rating against existing environmental conditions.
·Faulty lamp
·Line or ballast output
·Faulty ballast
·Ambient temperature too low
LAMP GOES OUT
AFTER LIGHTING
·Faulty lamp
·Occasionally a lamp will exhibit this symptom rather than
simply failing to light. Substitute a new lamp.
LAMP CYCLES ON
AND OFF
·Insulation is too close to fixture
·Lamp wattage too high
·Ballast output voltage low
·Remove insulation from around module (at least 3")
·Install lamp wattage specified in housing.
·Check line voltage at the fixture. Check open circuit voltage.

support bracket.
2. Bundle wires inside housing (DO NOT pass wires through top hole).
3. Replace the top cap and round decorative piece, leaving
screws loose for later steps.
4. Measure desired hanging length from ceiling to top of fixture, then
subtract the thickness of the canopy and add 6 inches.
**DESIRED SUSPENSION LENGTH - CANOPY THICKNESS + 6 INCHES =
CORD LENGTH** Cut cord to calculated length.
5. Strip off 4 inches of cord jacket to expose inner conductors. Strip ½ inch
from each conductor to expose copper.
6. Secure the provided strain relief bushing with a minimum of 2 inches
above the stripped edge of the cord. Use pliers or vice-grips to crimp
around the cord jacket – flat side facing up.
IF ADJUSTMENT IS REQUIRED, USE EITHER A FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER TO PRY-OFF BUSHING AND RECRIMP, OR CUT BUSHING OFF
AND USE EXTRA ONE PROVIDED. Figure 2B.
7. Remove the fixture cap to expose support bracket and to route cord
through top center hole of cap.
8. VERIFY CORD IS ROUTED THROUGH CAP AND ROUND
DECORATIVE PIECE IS ON FIXTURE. Align crimped bushing
inside top hole of housing, and press firmly to engage snaps and
suspend the fixture. Figure 2A
9. Gather both cord and socket leads and strain-relieve a minimum of 2
inches of cord conductors with socket conductors, using the provided
wire tie. Make connections with wire-nuts.
10. From canopy ASM separate J-box mounting pan from top of canopy by
loosening the 3 side screws, twisting and removing.
II. Ceiling Installation
11. Hang mounting pan by routing J-box wires through back of pan, and
using either 3.5 or 4.5 inch key holes, secure to J-box Figure 1C.
12. With canopy and fixture suspended on cord, make power connections
using wire nuts.
13. Tuck in all wires, close assembly to mounting pan and twist to engage
screws into L-slots.
14. Tighten screws. INSTALLATION COMPLETE.
