The Hospital is located at the intersection
of Third Line and Dundas Street.
From the QEW: Take the Third Line exit and
proceed north to Dundas Street. Turn left
(west) onto Dundas Street. Turn right onto
Hospital Gate.
From HWY 407: Take the Bronte Road exit
and proceed south to Dundas Street. Turn
left (east) onto Dundas Street. Turn left
onto Hospital Gate.
By Bus:
There are three Oakville Transit bus stops
on site – one by the east, west, and north
entrances. A digital sign displaying
schedule and departure information is
located in the hospital’s main lobby.
By Bicycle:
There are a number of bicycle racks
located around the building.
Accessibility:
The new hospital meets the guidelines
included in the Accessibility for Ontarians
with Disabilities Act (AODA).
Visiting:
There are almost 2,000 parking spaces
available onsite in the five surface parking
lots and six-level parking garage including:
• 114 accessible parking spots
• Designated signed spaces for dialysis
and cancer clinic patients on level two
• 64 hybrid vehicle parking spaces on
levels one, two and three
• Short term parking adjacent to the
West entrance
• Designated signed spaces for
heart function clinic patients in
short term parking
Considering the important role family
members play in a patient’s healing process
and their wish to stay by their side as much
as possible, patient rooms have dedicated
family space. Many units also have dedicated
family lounges.
Lot 2 has a pay and display option and all
other lots, including the parking garage,
have gated entrances, which require a
ticket be taken upon arrival and paid at
a pay station before leaving. Bring your
parking ticket with you into the hospital.
The patient discharge lounge provides
a private and comfortable space while
waiting to go home. The entrance and exit is
conveniently located at the south entrance
for easy access to pick up loved ones.

Patients and families can also enjoy multiple
outdoor courtyards throughout the site. The
spiritual care centre provides multi-faith
space and an outdoor sacred courtyard for
meditation and prayer.
Daily, weekly and monthly parking passes
can be purchased at the information desk in
the main lobby.
There are enclosed walkways from the
garage to the hospital on levels one and two.

The cashier’s office is located in the
South Block on Level one near the south
entrance. It is open Monday to Friday from
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We are a smoke free property and scent
restricted environment. When visiting
hospitals, please refrain from wearing
perfume or scented products, or bringing
latex products and balloons.
Smoking is not permitted on hospital
property. This includes inside the facility, on
the grounds, in the parking garage or
in parking lots.

The hospital and patient rooms have
been designed to encourage proper hand
hygiene by staff and visitors and reduce the
spread of infection, featuring touch-free
sinks, soap dispensers, hand sanitizers and
glove containers. Please do not visit if you
are unwell, adhere to isolation precaution
information, and always wash your hands.

The food court on the main level provides
400 indoor and 60 outdoor seats and
