Château de Blanville
Mas de Bedel
Château de Blanville - Mas de Bedel is located in south-western France in Languedoc-Roussillon, an area currently renowned as one of the most interesting and dynamic wine regions in the world. The vineyard of Mas de Bedel has a stunning location and at 200m above sea level overlooks a landscape that includes the port of Sète, the biodiverse saltwater lagoon Étang de Thau, and the Mediterranean
Sea. The village of Saint-Pargoire is close-by and the Cévenne mountain range provides a breathtaking view in the distance.
The vineyard is 6 hectares in size and contains bauxite soil which, coupled with the sea spray, contributes freshness and minerality to the wines. The grapes cultivated are syrah, black grenache, white grenache and roussanne and, like all Blanville Domains, the vineyard is cultivated according to the principles of sustainable agronomy.
Château de Blanville - Mas de Bedel produces 24,000 bottles of appellation Grès de Montpellier red wines and 6000 bottles of white wine.

At the foot of the Cévennes mountains, an amphitheatre of vineyards encircle the city of Montpellier and overlook the Mediterranean
Sea. These estates are located in a temperate climate zone with a thermal amplitude enabling the fruit and their tannins to mature softly and in a well-balanced manner.
The name Grés comes from the Occitan word for pebbles, gravels and other stones. It was created in 2003 and currently numbers 50 winegrowers, 46 villages and 4 terroirs.
Blanville has chosen the most desirable plots of this hilly area to produce the fine, delicate and elegant red wines that best characterise Grés de
Montpellier.
