What’s Trending?
* Biology End of Course/STAAR test is underway. Tutoring is Monday and Wednesday’s after school in
room #2206 (Adams). You need to pass this test to graduate! If you received the bright orange invitation,
you are expected to attend. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Adams
* "Operation Beautiful is This Thursday,
April 7th. Ladies go without make-up, guys wear white t-shirts in support.
Students earn STUCO points for supporting that beauty comes from within".
* Yes folks, it’s that time of year. We will be having the 5th Annual Harmon Cup tournament in conjunction
with our Cinco de Mayo celebration. The tournament will be on Thursday, 4/28 during 1st period. I’m
attaching the flyer/registration form in case you know some Beckham or Morgan juniors in your
classes. Signs are going up today and the registration deadline is Friday, 4/21. However, the first 8 teams to
register will play.
Just to remind everyone, it is a 5 v. 5 tournament with 2 girls and 3 boys on the field per team. It is single
elimination.
* If you would like to buy a boat regatta t-shirt please see Mr. Fletcher. Shirts will cost $5.00. Please stop by
with money and shirt size. Mr. Fletcher should have the shirts some time in the next 2 weeks. Mr. Fletcher
will send out an image of what the shirts will look like this week.
Don’t miss your chance to be awesome!
* Any sophomore student who applied for AVID for next year will be called down this Thursday, April 7th
during 3rd or 4th period. This is for students who will be new to AVID next year as a junior. Please dress
professionally and be ready for a 10-15 minute interview.
* Si Se Puede meets every Monday after school, see Ms. Barragan if you have any questions!
* The Boat Regatta and Art Club is meeting Wednesday after school.
* Anyone who want to donate non-dyed or chemically treated hair please see Ms. Jayme in Room 1111 as
soon as possible!
Junior World Affairs Council
* The Junior World Affairs Council will be holding a pre-sale this week for Earth Day T-Shirts, sizes range
from Youth Small to Adult XL. The shirts are 10.00 each and can be purchased from Ms. Seeliger in room
1502 – money is due this Friday, 4/8. Thank you for your support.
