Our outside sites are located throughout campus.
Currently, UNC has eight outside locations available for recycle
collection.
Hansen Willis Hall: located on the west side of building in the
alley.
Harrison/Turner Hall: located south of each building in Turner
drive parking lot.
North Hall: located on the northwest side of building in parking
lot F.
President’s Row: located directly north of buildings.
South Hall: located directly south of the hall, facing parking lot J.
Tobey - Kendall Hall: located on east side of building, along 9th Ave.
Wilson Hall: located on east side of building, along 9th Ave.
University Apartments: located inside the parking lot on the south side of Toussaint Hall.
*All outdoor recycle locations are found inside the dumpster enclosures.
Outdoor Recycling Directions
All outside collection sites have separate containers for
paper, commingle, and cardboard with identification plaques.
It is very important to separate recyclable materials into the
proper container to prevent delays in the recycling process.
At times when the bins are full, placing bagged commingle
items or flattened cardboard items on the side or on top of the
bin is an acceptable way to drop off items.
*Remember these are not trash cans. Trash should be placed into the dumpster
next to the recycle bins. This includes styrofoam, pizza boxes, or any items
containing food.
