Description:
Surge protection is required to reduce the risk of potentially high voltage spikes into the system.
Whilst all FireSense fire alarm equipment contains surge protection, it can not absorb all the energy as well as a
stand alone surge protector.
Using the highest quality Silicon Avalanche Diode (SAD) technology, the PLP-S is designed to protect your
equipment from harmful power surges and transients. Nondegrading SADs will last the lifetime of your equipment,
ensuring system uptime.
The PLP-S series of products provides isolated power loop circuit protection in applications where higher current is
required, such as fire alarm and security systems.
