about a young college couple, Oliver and Jenny that seek the acceptance
of his upper- cla s s parent s . Creative Direc tor Charlot te E skildsen explains:
“Ali Mac Graw who plays “Jenny ” ha s a par ticular men’s inspired ‘ 70s look
which I find inspiring and ver y signific ant for the current trends of today.
The ma sculine and modern references in the women’s wear from that time
and the dus t y Fall-feeling of the movie had me create a collec tion that
transcends to the sea son of rus t y, grey and c amel colour s”. Surrender to the
undeniable love and explore the flaunt y lounge deluxe 70s univer se inspired
by the s t yle icon, Ali Mac Graw.
Heav y craf ted materials layered upon hand worked sheer garment s dominate
the overall expres sion of the collec tion. It is in the ta sk of balancing the
ma sculine cla s sic s t yles in order underline the feminism of the 70s univer se
that tricker s the s t yling of the collec tion. St yling the white cla s sic tur tleneck
under mos t of the items is a key element of the general look – Covered up
but sex y. F ind voluminous double brea s ted coat s with over size s tab s titched
lapels , draped men’s cot ton shir t s and flare pant s in heav y garment s , mixed
with Vic torian sheer organza gowns , puf f sleeves and hems decorated with
the iconic Designer s Remix ruf fle.
Fall in love with the craf t smanship of the advanced fabric s and pat terns in
Fall colour s . F ind a herringbone vintage -looking fake fur, sc allop shapes
on the silk shir t s , wa shed durable wool coat s , see -through organza and
Vic torian lace dres ses . Add the Sc andi-feel to the look by mixing the
ver satile colour s tor y of the collec tion. Combine baby blue with c aramel and
crisp white, or the burgundy with nav y blue and rose pink . Imagine that the
