Many attempts were made in planning to secure our typical tour sights and activities. Unfortunately, we were unable to do so with the original dates, so it became more reasonable to change our trip dates. This year’s new trip dates will be Saturday, April 8 - Friday, April 14. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family. You will receive more information about the Washington, DC trip as we move closer to the end of first semester. Help with Upper School PTO for Charger Volunteer Hours: Help with Upper School PTO Hospitality and get your volunteer hours by helping us bless our teachers throughout the school year! Please contact Sheri Rominger at sfrominger@gmail.com. Also, the Upper School does Box Tops! See the box labeled “Box Tops” in the alcove by the MS vending machines closest to the Lobby. Chromebooks on Campus We have a set of chromebooks available for circulation in The Commons (8th-12th grades) and the Library (6th-7th grades). These devices have a two-hour checkout period, and sometimes students prefer to use these devices for certain activities like drafting a paper or other tasks in a class. Students may take the chromebooks out of The Commons/Library only if we have a signed waiver on file. Please click here to sign the waiver and grant this permission. We need you to fill out this waiver even if you filed a paper one last year. If you have any questions, please contact Sara Coffman. ACADEMIC REVIEW: The Academic Committee will meet for our next review on Friday, September 2, 2016. Students with failing grades or excessive 8th hour reports will be placed in appropriate levels of concern which can lead to Academic Probation. If your student is showing signs of academic need, please contact Laura Daugherty (ldaugherty@ccsk12.com) (6-7th grade) or Greg Davick (gdavick@ccsk12.com) (8th grade) in the MS Guidance Office for information on tutoring and support.
