COURSE OBJECTIVES
The course aims to familiarize students with theoretical and methodological foundations
and practical achievements in the field of sports to prepare athletes of all levels of sports
allow to increase the knowledge and skills in accordance with current requirements in the
world.
PREREQUISITES
At the completion of this course it is desired that each
student be able to:
 able to explain the essence of sport
 determine the specificity of sport children and young
people
 identify sporting talent
 be able to choose the means and methods of training to
the needs of children and youth sport
 use of special fitness tests
KNOWLEDGE:
K_W01 - known professional nomenclature and terminology
the subject of the theory and methodology of sport;
K_W04 - know the selection criteria and the selection and structure
of sports training of children and young people;
K_W05 - known method forms and means used in the development
of motor skills and physical fitness tests for the diagnosis of motor
skills;
SKILLS:
K_U06 - skillfully uses the available sources of expertise, is able to

find the information and the use of multimedia and audiovisual
K_U12 - can plan the structure of the training process
and health, determine the size of the training load and draw an
outline of the training lesson plan as well as wellness,

different terrain, environment and time of year
