Dear Perimeter Family, Thank you so much for the many months you have sustained us through your love, prayers and gracious gifts. How can we ever thank you for your kindness in helping our daughter, Christy, and her four precious children. You have blessed us beyond what our words of gratitude can adequately express. We don't even know how to begin except to say "We thank our God every time we remember you." (Phil.1:3). Whenever we hear infectious laughter and galloping feet running through the house, we especially want to thank the anonymous gift of the air flight to Cincinnati through the snow storm. Without your overwhelming gracious response so quickly to our need, there would be silence in our home and great loss. We are so forever grateful for the gift of life your love and generosity has given us. We have seen the faithfulness of our Lord through the community of believers during this medical crisis our grandsons experienced in Ohio at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The Jenkins boys are the most successful bone marrow transplant they have ever had at that hospital. People come from all around the world with rare genetic diseases like ours to be treated by their expertise. John and Will were actually in critical condition upon our arrival. Their recovery to be able to undergo the bone marrow transplant was considered by the medical personnel as unprecedented. Then to succeed beyond all expectation in their BMT's is an amazing gift of God's Grace. We believe your prayers allowed God to make His presence known in miraculous ways many times. It is so good to finally be home. The boys, John, Will and Matthew are continuing their treatment here and return to Cincinnati every three months for the lab/check up protocol. This will extend to six months and then to yearly treatments for several years to come. They receive intravenous IVIG infusions monthly and see their immunologist here between visits to Ohio. We hope you will continue to pray for their protection as they are developing their healthy mature immune systems. Thank you for sharing this journey of healing with us. We are forever grateful. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Sincerely, The Jenkins/Chamblee Family back row - L to R: Julia, Christy middle row - Matthew front row - L to R: Will, John
